Presidents' Round Table a Huge Success for All Involved

Hosted by the Australian Catholic University, Momentum Cloud was invited to participate in a panel discussion on the importance of partnerships driving innovation in higher education in Melbourne.

The panel was part of the larger Presidents’ round table theme of ‘Leading International Collaboration’, hosted by Australian Catholic University.

Panel Participants included Susi Steigler Peters, Education Industry Executive, Telstra;  Adam Brimo, Co-founder of Open Learning;  Aaron Hughes, Co-Founder of Momentum Cloud, Professor Simon Stewart, Director, Mary MacKillop Institute for Health Research and NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence (CRE) to Reduce Inequality in Heart Disease, ACU.

The panel discussed innovation, the effective process and methodology of R&D versus 'quick to fail'; collaboration; risk; commercialising innovation; change management; role of enterprise leadership/partners; and measurement of success.

Following on from a robust discussion, there were several thought provoking conversational themes.

The day ended with a cocktail reception in which the Governor General of Australia, Sir Peter Cosgrove addressed the participants and invited guests.
